Karima Fuentes has served school communities in diverse educational settings in the Los Angeles Unified School District for over 25 years. In her various roles, including teacher, math content expert, and instructional coach, induction specialist, and school support administrator, she has worked collaboratively with teachers, site and district office administrators to foster partnerships and leverage resources that support student learning. Ms. Fuentes is a Lead Teacher Induction Specialist for the Teacher Growth and Induction (TGI) Program in the Human Resources Division of LAUSD. She has provided instructional leadership development and coaching and led professional development in social-emotional learning, wellness, distance learning, and various school improvement topics. Karima's hobbies include traveling with her husband, kids, and extended family.  She also loves cheering her kids on at soccer and football games and playing with her Shar Peis.
