Why are the first 5 years of teaching so difficult? What are some practical ways that Teacher Induction Programs can better support new teachers? These complex questions have no “easy” answers, nevertheless, ones we all should be asking. Here is what we can agree on. We must see teaching and supporting teachers as human work. We must have conversations with one another about our human experiences so that we can better connect.
