In order for coaching to be effective, there must be a shared belief in the power of coaching. Solution-based coaching creates new neural pathways in the brain that lead to transformational change and growth in both the coach and coachee. This session will explore the elements of a Coaching Mindset through an interactive workshop design. Coaches of all levels and expertise will receive tools and tips to deepen their understanding and application of such principles as Adult Learning Theory, the Coaching Cognitive Shift, and the power of Presupposition. Content will be shared through the lens of UDL, allowing participants to choose the learning experiences that best suit their style and preference. Access to the San Bernardino City Unified School District's extensive Coaching Manual will be included in the shared resources.
